Dianthus Oscar Trixi 25cm

Compact and floriferous, Dianthus Oscar Trixi 25cm forms neat mounds of green foliage and produces a long season of cheerful summer blooms in full sun. Ideal for containers, edging and rock gardens, it thrives in very free-draining, moderately fertile soil and is especially happy on light sandy or chalky ground. In Ireland, give it the sunniest, driest spot you have and avoid winter wet; deadhead spent flowers to keep the display coming. Expect a tidy, low habit around 20–30cm, perfect for brightening doorsteps, patios and the front of borders.
