LEPTOSPERMUM S. RED DAMASK

LEPTOSPERMUM S. RED DAMASK

Leptospermum scoparium ā€˜Red Damask’ is an evergreen tea tree valued for its rich red blossom in late spring to early summer and its aromatic green foliage. Best grown in a sunny, warm, and sheltered position in Ireland, it prefers fertile, well‑drained, neutral to acidic soil and does not thrive on chalk. In mild gardens it forms a bushy, upright shrub, making a striking feature for sunny borders or courtyard plantings; lightly trim after flowering to maintain shape.

To help give a clear sense of scale, the stone wall shown in our photos measures approximately 265cm in height. We also use familiar garden tools as visual references: a digging fork (110cm tall) and a hand fork (30cm tall). These are included purely as size guides to help you better judge proportions when viewing the images.
