Miscanthus sin. Morning Light

Miscanthus sin. Morning Light is an elegant, deciduous, clump-forming ornamental grass prized for its very fine, arching green leaves edged with narrow white margins that create a soft, silvery effect and bring movement and structure to planting schemes. In late summer to autumn it can produce feathery, reddish panicles that mature to silvery tones, providing long-lasting seasonal interest; leave the stems standing for winter texture and cut back in late winter before new growth. Thriving in full sun and moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, it forms a refined, upright clump around 1.5–2m tall, making an excellent focal point or repeated feature in mixed borders and gravel gardens.
